As some of you may know, we have been working with external consultants, funders in the DEI Data Group, social justice groups, and grantees, to develop a taxonomy for equalities data. This is really important. Collecting the data in the right way will help funders make good evidence based decisions. We want a shared approach to collecting data about organisations either led by, or targeting and supporting groups experiencing structural inequity.

There will be further consultation as proposals are more developed, but we wanted to share an opportunity for early input for those who are interested.
