I’m pleased to announce that the extensions mechanism and our first extension for DEI are live! This takes the Standard to version 1.4.
The release notes for version 1.4 are available here and include several other PATCH updates that have passed governance since 1.4 was approved and were therefore incorporated into one release. Here are the corresponding forum posts for the MINOR Extensions mechanism update, the first PATCH update and the second PATCH update that were incorporated into this release.
Although the Standard update for the Extensions mechanism was approved last year, we decided to wait to make the changes live until we had developed guidance to make it easier for users to prepare valid DEI data alongside their 360Giving data. This is now ready, and you can read the guidance about Extensions in general and the DEI extension in particular on our Standard documentation site.
